Works with private and public schools to provide access to education for all students. Bricks and Books has worked hard to make sure the schools we work in have adequate supplies, and in addition we work with teachers to improve their ability to provide the students with a high quality of education. One major aspect of the projects of Bricks and Books is that the community sustain and support the schools and education. Moivaro Foundation School the first school that Bricks and Books built is now sustained and supported by the women of the village.

How to get involved

We are always looking for individuals looking to get involved both on the ground in Tanzania as well as in our fundraising efforts in the US. Bricks and Books is looking for individuals interested in volunteering in Tanzania at the Imbasani. Moivaro, or Patandi schools to help us work with the teachers and the schools to improve the quality of education in the schools.
