PinoyMedia Center is a nonprofit, alternative media organization that focuses on people\'s issues, from the environment to agrarian reform to human rights and imperialism, from the point of view of ordinary people who are affected most by the consequences of these issues. PinoyMedia Center recently took the cudgels in publishing Pinoy Weekly, a Filipino-language, progressive online newsmagazine. Pinoy Weekly reports had previously been cited as finalists to the Jaime V. Ongpin Award for Excellence in Investigative Journalism.

How to get involved

Our organization is looking for volunteers and citizen journalists in the Philippines and in countries with Filipino migrant presence to write and document stories regarding issues in their respective communities.
