Help Channel Burundi was started in response to the humanitarian crisis experienced in Burundi during the 1993-2005 civil war, in an effort to alleviate the suffering of Burundians most in need. We are committed to humanitarian response, to sustainable development and to the empowerment of all Burundians, regardless of ethnicity or religious belief. Help Channel also works to increase the capacity of churches and other grassroots associations to develop local initiatives in response to the needs of their communities.
