Partners with GLOW is a non-profit formed in 2008 to connect the activities of an AIDS-orphaned youth group in a remote Zambian village with the world economy via www.glowzambia.org, and to raise awareness about the problems facing Zambia as a direct result of AIDS.

GLOW stands for \"Girls Leading Our World\" and is an informal organization associated with the Peace Corps whose mission is empowering disadvantaged girls and teens.

GLOW Club Mushota is in a remote Zambian village, isolated from economic activity and access to good education. The club is made up of AIDS orphaned girls and teens seeking a brighter future.

As single and double female orphans, these girls are at the greatest disadvantage in acquiring money to pay for school fees, uniforms, shoes and books.

The GLOW Club and its activities are instrumental in increasing girls\' confidence and awareness of the issues they face such as early marriage and pregnancy, HIV/AIDS, and peer pressure.

Additionally, the income generating activities executed by the club have been successful in providing money for the girls to continue their education.

All of the girls who have been participating in the club in the past year are still enrolled in and regularly attending school.

How to get involved

visit the GLOW Club store at www.glowzambia.org and purchase hand made jewelry, hand crafts and AIDS pins made by the GLOW Club girls to raise money for their school fees.

Partners with GLOW works diligently to maintain a small, sustainable infrastructure for funneling 100% of donations and hand-crafts purchases directly to the GLOW Club school fund. The aim is to empower the GLOW Club to gain control of their own futures through education and economic activity.

The goal of Partners with GLOW is to be a 100% corruption free organization, a direct connection between those in need and those willing to help them. We care about these girls and want your efforts to go directly to helping them succeed.
