I am a social entrepreneur, freelance copywriter and nonprofit consultant that has years of experience working with nonprofits from around the country, specializing in program and organizational development, leadership, recruiting and volunteer management.
From the age of seven, I made a commitment to myself that I would change the world and from that day, everything I do whether it's personal, professional or social, is done for one and one reason only; to make society a better place for all.
In 2006, I founded the Literacy 'n' Poverty Project, a startup nonprofit organization that works to alleviate poverty and improve adult education worldwide through advocacy, research and service. In addition to leading LnP, I also consult with startup and small nonprofits to build sustainable social enterprises.
By combining my love for business and nonprofits, I have developed a career in social change that enables me to fulfill a life long dream of changing the world. This is success, the way I define it!
I am a volunteer writer with CollectiveLens.com, a member of the Poughkeepsie Platinum branch of the AAUW, and serve on the Amazing Kids! advisory board.
