Ukulapha College of Counsellor Training is a non-profit organization that was formed with the objective of facilitating the growth, development and empowerment, mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually of South African people. To help people in their community manage emotions, build self-esteem and facilitate social upliftment, revitalizing the vital spirit of Ubuntu. Our hope is to offer women and men the opportunity to realize their own potential as a mentor and a counsellor including the opportunity to contribute to the social and economic health of their own community. Mentoring Aids orphans living in child-headed households is an integral focus and service performed by our counsellors.

I am a Professor Emeritus of the University of Lethbridge, now retired and living in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia. My profession was music (musicology, ethnomusicology, composition, performance), but I have had many interests in my life including: paleontology, horticulture, languages, and travel. I am currently learning to use audio software and web authoring software, as well as studying the Turkish language. In addition to English, I am fairly fluent in Bahasa Indonesia, and can read (with effort) French.
