Hope in Shadows is a unique project based around a photography contest for residents in Vancouver\'s Downtown Eastside. The prize-winning photos are then used to create a calendar that gives a glimpse of the hope, spirit and courage of people living in Canada\'s poorest neighbourhood.

The Kivu Kids Tour is a seven day cycling tour through Eastern Congo and Rwanda in July 2009 in order to create awareness of the social and political issues that that challenge the Lake Kivu region as well as raise money to help rebuild Maison Immacculee, a small orphanage in the city of Goma, DRC.
