Collective Lens: Photography for Social Change

Just about every area of Detroit has numerous abandoned schools. I believe the total school closings last year was 34. That in itself is a shame; however the tragedy here is the thousands of books I come across. The public schools are constantley complaining about not having enough books; and yet, I literaly find stacks of newer books in great condition.
