Personal Description
I live in Glen Allen, Virginia, and I am a husband and father of two boys. I have long been interested in human rights issues. Over the last 20 years, I have written countless letters for Amnesty International to help relieve the plight of prisoners of conscience. More recently, I have tried to be active in making people aware of and opposing the death penalty and the use of torture. I hope to use my opportunity to write for Collective Lens as a way to highlight some humanitarian issues that aren't on the front pages of our newspapers and web sites. If you have any ideas for stories, I'd love to hear them!
